Vedika - South Indian Actress
Vedhika Kumar (Kannada: ವೇದಿಕಾ ಕುಮಾರ್) is a South Indian film actress who has appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. She's a Kannadiga from the Kannadigas dominated city of Maharashtra Solapur.
Career
Vedhika Kumar first film is Madrasi in this film she co-starred with well established actor, Arjun and this film did well at the box office after the success this film was dubbed into Telugu language film as Sivakasi. After the success in Madrasi she got another chance to act in a Tamil film Muni in a lead heroine role in this film she co-starred with Lawrence Raghavendra, which was simultaneously dubbed into Telugu also. Then she appeared in Kaalai opposite actor,Simbu alias Silambarasan. The Film was a Box-office dud. Her latest movie is a Kannada movie called Sangama opposite Ganesh and a Tamil film with newcomer Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj in the film, Sakkarakatti, which has A. R. Rahman as the music director.
