While renowned South Indian actress Meena's ongoing devotional flick Tarigonda Vengamamba directed by Uday Bhaskar, is all set to have its audio launch on June 7 at Tirupati, we hear that Vengamamba will have a total of 21 songs, including a few poems. Music is composed by M.M. Keeravani. Being shot in Hyderabad, Tirupati and surrounding areas, Vengamamba has Meena playing the title role of saint-poetess Tarigonda Vengamamba, a devotee of Lord Venkateshwara, who is very popular in Andhra Pradesh for her devotional writings. The film also has Saikiran, Sarath Babu, Sudha, Siva Parvathi, Ragini and Ashok Kumar in major roles. Camera is by P.R.K. Raju, music is by M.M. Keeravani, lyrics are by Annamayya, Vengamamba, Veturi and Vedavyasa and editing is by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The film is produced by Doraswamy Raju. Meanwhile, Meena was recently engaged to Vidyasagar, a software engineer in Bangalore, during a ceremony held in Chennai a couple of days ago in the presence of close friends and family members. Her wedding will be solemnized on July 12 at Tirupathi, followed by a reception on a very grand scale in Chennai.Monday May 25 5:41 PM
