Kavya's Diary, director Karuna Prakash's latest film starring Charmi, Manjula and Shashank in the lead roles, is all set to grace theatres on June 5. The movie was put on hold due to IPL matches and the recently-concluded elections.
Produced by Manjula's husband Sanjay Swarup under his Indira Productions banner, Kavya's Diary revolves around a close-knit family with small children. There will some suspense that makes this film a thriller.
According to sources, Charmi will display her dark side in Kavya's Diary, which she claims is her "maiden role with negative shades". "I am doing something different and hope the audience doesn't hate me," the actress said while talking about her role.
Manu Ramesan has composed the music. Shyam Datt is the cinematographer. This is the second time that Manjula, Charmi and Shashank come together for a movie; the first time was in Anukokunda Oka Roju.
