Lucknow:
Reiterating its solidarity with the Third Front, the Bahujan Samaj Party on Tuesday said the party was not involved in any talks either with the UPA or the NDA for the formation of the next Government at the Centre.
The BSP spokesman said no talks were on either with the UPA or the NDA, and the BSP was with the Third Front. He termed totally false, baseless and mischievous the news appearing in a section of the media which said BSP supremo Mayawati had sent a message through her brother Anand to the political secretary of Congress president Sonia Gandhi to meet her. Mayawati had not sent any such message,
he added.
The BSP spokesman said that such rumours were
being spread by the opposition parties as part of a conspiracy.
Earlier, it was reported that the UPA was likely to contact the BSP for the formation of the next government at the Centre within a couple of days. There were also reports about the NDA, too, doing the same in the coming days.
